Honeygold Apples and Apple Dessert Recipe

This is one of my favorite late season apples. It's one of the sweeter apples we grow at the orchard. Just be care - they bruise easily and aren't the best keepers. Definitely get these when they're right off the trees and enjoy!

Approximate Ripening Date: September 25th

Flavor: Sweet, crisp and juicy!

Baking: Keeps its shape when baked and makes a chunky applesauce.

History: Golden Delicious x Haralson cross developed at the University of Minnesota and introduced 1970.
