The first Crimson Gold apples just started showing up on our shelves three years ago. Our trees are young and we don't have a lot of them but they are definitely a great apple for our orchard.
Approximate Ripening Date: September 27th
Flavor: Great fresh eating apple with a sweet-tart flavor. Robust and bright flavors.
Baking: Keeps its shape when baked. Also great in ciders.
