The Grump has been visting a wide variety of local business this holiday season.
It's been a sparkle of joy in an otherwise dark year.
We were honored to have him visit us for an episode of Cider After Dark.

We made Hot Apple Cider Buttered Whiskey with the Grump!
Ingredients:
Hot Buttered Whisky Mix
3/4 C butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp orange zest
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ground ginger (I didn't have this)
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups brown sugar
1 T honey
To assemble:
Hot Lapacek's Orchard Apple Cider
Whiskey
Instructions:
Cream together butter, vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and salt, until well combined.
Beat in brown sugar and honey. Scrap sides of bowl frequently.
Place 2 tsp hot butter whiskey mix in an 8 ounce mug. Dissolve mix using hot apple cider. Stir in 2 shots of your favorite whiskey and enjoy.
